How to Create a Toys2sell Listing

Now that you've successfully created your sellers account and linked your Paypal account to receive payments through the Toys2sell marketplace, this tutorial will walk you through the process of creating a new listing.  Initially this may seem like a daunting task, but once you've created your 1st item you can simply use that as a template to copy over for your future listings.  Not all of the pages are required, so below is an overview of the pages necessary to complete your listing.

Creating a listing:

From your seller dashboard, click on the "catalog" button and then select "products".  Then find the "+" button and click that to start your listing.

"General" Page:  This is the default listing page, and where you're required to add your item title and general description.  You are also required to add a Meta Tag, which can be as simple as adding something like your store/seller name here.  You also have the ability to add (although NOT required) as many meta/product tags, and keywords as you wish.

"Data" Page:  This page is where you input your product specifics like model/SKU, or other information you wish.  The model is a required field, and a good rule of thumb is to create the model # similar to what your uploaded image was labeled for ease of finding it in your filer folder.

-  The price does not need a $, so an example of a listed price would simply be 99.99.

-  Ensure the quantity is correct (multiples are fine), and subtract stock should always be set as "yes" to ensure items are in stock.

-  Stock status would typically be either "in Stock" or "Pre-Sale".  If listing a pre-sale item, there should be a note in the item description along with an estimated ship date.

- Dimensions are not currently used by the automated USPS postage calculator, but all package dimensions should be created in inches.  Item weight is required to be in ounces, and is required in order to calculate shipping charges.

- Status needs to be "Enabled" in order to show up in the marketplace.  Marking an item as "disabled" will keep it visible only within your seller dashboard.

"Links" Page:  This page is mainly used to locate your item correctly within the marketplace.  Simply click in the "Categories" box and an expansive category drop-down menu will pop up to choose from.  You may choose up to 2 separate categories for your products.  You can also link any of your other related products (using their specific item name).  For example, if you have a set of 3 items you can link the other 2 to your original listing.

"Image" Page:  This page is used to add photo(s) for your listing.  Click on the image icon to either choose a photo already in your seller file folder, or to upload photos to that folder.  Please note that only 5 photos can be uploaded at once, although there is no limit on the number of photos you can add to a particular item.  If you choose more than a single photo, you are also able to sort the order of those photos via numbering them 1-whatever will put them in the order you want.
